Pineapple & Banana Salad
6 oz box Lemon or Orange Jell-O
2-20 oz cans crushed pineapple, unsweetened
2 large bananas, sliced
16 oz bag mini marshmallows
TOPPING:
1 cup pineapple juice, reserved from crushed pineapple
1 egg beaten well
2 Tablespoons flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons butter
1 envelope pkg of Dream Whip
Prepare Jell-O according to package directions in a 9 x13 pan. Drain pineapple juice and reserve 1 cup. Stir pineapple and bananas into the Jell-O. Spread out marshmallows on top of Jell-O. Chill until set. To make the topping, in a pan cook reserved pineapple juice, egg, flour, sugar & butter until thick, and chill. Prepare Dream Whip as directed on pkg and combine with the topping. Spread topping on top of Jell-O and marshmallows. Chill.
