• 1/2 cup butter
• 1/4 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
• 2 tablespoons honey
• 1 1/2 tablespoons ground peppercorns
• Salt to taste

  1. Salt and pepper the chicken wings to season.
  2. Fill the deep fryer with enough vegetable oil to fully cover the chicken wings.
  3. Heat the oil in the deep fryer until it reaches 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  4. While the oil is heating, start the lemon pepper sauce by melting the butter in a small saucepan or microwave.
  5. Add the honey, lemon juice and ground peppercorns to the melted butter.
  6. Fry the wings in small batches. It may take ten minutes or so for the wings to fully cook and get crispy on the outside.
  7. When the wings are done in the fryer, set on paper towels to drain off the extra grease.
  8. Place the wings into a large bowl.
  9. Pour the sauce over the wings, and use a wooden spoon to stir until evenly coated.
    Pizza Hut Buffalo Wings
    • 1 1/2 pounds small chicken wings and drummettes(roughly 14)[
    • Enough peanut oil to deep fry
    • 1/4 cup margarine
    • 1/4 cup Frank’s Red Hot sauce (for medium and burnin’ hot), or a mild sauce
    • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
    • 2 tablespoons honey
    • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
    • 1 garlic clove, minced

    • Pinch nutmeg
  10. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 375 degrees.
  11. Add the chicken wings and drummettes to the hot oil, being careful not to splatter. The wings will take about 13 to 15 minutes to cook through.
  12. While the chicken wings are frying, start the buffalo sauce by melting the margarine in a medium saucepan over a medium flame.
  13. Add the minced garlic, and cook for a minute or two. Do not let the garlic burn.
  14. Add the Frank’s Red Hot sauce for medium or burnin’ hot wings, or mild sauce for mild wings.
  15. Add the dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, cumin and nutmeg. For burnin’ hot wings, also add the cayenne pepper.

  17. Once the chicken is done, lay it on towels to soak up the excess grease.
