Pizza Pork Chops


6 pork loin chops, 1-inch thick
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1 T. vegetable oil
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 c. tomato pasta sauce
4 c. cooked orzo
1 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese (4 oz.)

Remove excess fat from pork; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat and cook chops 5 minutes, turning once, until brown.

Transfer to crockpot; sprinkle with onion; pour sauce over. Cover; cook on LOW 4 to 6 hours or until pork is tender.

Place orzo on platter; top with chops and sauce. Sprinkle with cheese.
