POPCORN PESTO

POPCORN PESTO

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 T. basil
1 t. parsley flakes
1 t. garlic powder
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. peanuts
5 quarts popped popcorn

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat or microwave in small glass bowl. Stir in seasonings, cheese and peanuts. Pour over warm popcorn in bowl; mix gently. Serve immediately or store in airtight container.

Makes 20 cups
