PORK SAUSAGE CHOWDER - old recipe

1 lb. pork sausage
4 potatoes, cubed
1 onion, sliced
Water
2 carrots, sliced
2 c. hot milk
Salt and pepper to taste
1 hard boiled egg, chopped

In double boiler, steam sausage, potatoes and carrots until vegtables are tender and sausage is browned. Add milk and seasoning; simmer 5 to 8 minutes. when serving, garnish with chopped egg.
