Potato Casserole

This is always a hit at block parties and summertime picnics!

POTATO CASSEROLE

10 cups frozen hash browns
1/4 cup + 2 Tablespoons butter
1 can cream of chicken soup
12 oz. sour cream
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped green onions
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 cup crushed corn flakes

Preheat oven to 375.

Pour 1/4 cup melted butter into 9 x 13 baking dish. Add 5 cups frozen hash browns. Mix soup, sour cream, milk, and green onions in a seperate bowl. Pour 1/2 mixture over hash browns. Sprinkle 1 cup grated cheddar cheese on top. Add remainder of hash browns and mixture on top. Sprinkle on remaining cheese, then cover with crushed corn flakes. Drizzle 2 tablespoons melted butter on top. Bake for 55 minutes.
