Potluck Meatballs

My mum makes these meatballs whenever she has a potluck to go to or she is throwing a little party. Everyone loves them and they are quite easy. She usually makes the meatballs from scratch, but if you are running short on time, you can get frozen meatballs from the store. Those work just as well.

2 lbs ground beef
2 eggs
3/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 pkg frozen spinach, thawed and drained very well
2 tbsp minced garlic
1 small bottle ketchup
1 jar black current jelly
S/P to taste

Combine the beef, eggs, bread crumbs, spinach and garlic together and form into meatballs smaller than a golf ball. Place on a cookie sheet sprayed with Pam and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. 2 - 3 hours prior to serving, place the jelly and ketchup in a crock pot and add the meatballs. Cook on high. Serve from the crock pot.

wow these sound really good
