Real Lemony Hummus
Prep time: 5 minutes
Servings: 2 cups servings
1 can (540 mL) chick peas, drained and rinsed
1/3 cup (75 mL) ReaLemon® Lemon Juice from Concentrate
1/4 cup (50 mL) tahini*
1/4 cup (50 mL) each: water and olive oil
1-2 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp. (2.5 mL) each: paprika and ground cumin
Combine all ingredients in food processor and process until smooth (if mixture is too thick add a little water or lemon juice). Adjust seasonings if necessary. Garnish as desired.
*Tahini is also known as sesame paste. You can also substitute with 1 tbsp. (15 mL) sesame oil.
