Hi whitetiger…welcome to RecipeSecrets. I see you’ve made your first post! Great…but as a gentle reminder…here are the Forum Rules as established by the site owner/operator/webmaster/guru:
Recipe Exchange
Forum Rules - You must POST a recipe or answer a recipe request BEFORE requesting a recipe. This way there will be more great recipes for us all to try .
Many new members miss this point. The members here are more than willing to help, but, you also have to contribute…as an example; if you have 5 recipe requests, you should have 5 recipe posts. The reason is outlined above. You’ll likely find, in most instances, the responses will far exceed your expectations and posts! The forums are typically self-policed…with comments and recommendations from other members. But that’s why this site is first class, and so are it’s members and their respective contributions.
Once again, welcome to the membership…post up your recipe(s), and then make your request(s)…in a balanced manner. Looking forward to your recipe contributions. Regards,
B-man
PS. Because we are a generous bunch here, and because you are asking so that you can prepare a meal item for your daughter, I’m posting your recipe request! But that doesn’t let you off the hook    You gotta post one recipe for this one. I hope you and your daughter not only enjoy the recipe, but your time together!
KFC Extra Crispy Chicken
KFC uses pressure fryers to fry chicken, which is risky to do at home. If you are using a deep fryer , fry a few pieces at a time for about 20 minutes, covered, turning occasionally. Likewise, if pan frying, cook, covered, turning occasionally for about 30 minutes. As always, with chicken, check the middle of a large piece to check for doneness. Allow to drain on paper towels when cooking is completed.
Ingredients:
1 (2 to 3 pound) cut up chicken
1 quart water
3 tablespoons salt (for soaking)
1 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon Accent (MSG)
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Soybean oil (no substitutions) for frying
Allow chicken to soak in salted water for 30 minutes
Mix egg and milk in a bowl. Mix flour, Accent, salt and pepper in another bowl. Preheat deep fryer to 350 F, or place 3/4 inch oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Dry chicken with paper towels. Dredge in flour mixture. Dip into milk-egg mixture, then back into flour mixture. DO this one piece at a time making sure there is total coverage over entire surface of chicken in each step.
Enjoy!

Thank you b-man for all your help. sorry i goofed, thank goodness you are all so forgiving. Below is my recipe for Pad Thai from Americas Test Kitchen, I made it before and i liked it and not to difficult to make.
Ingredients:
6 oz vermicelli or rice noodles
2 T peanut butter
5 T soy sauce or tamarind
1 T brown sugar
2 scrambled eggs
6 diced scallions
5 cloves pressed garlic
peanuts
1/3 cup vinegar
quartered lime
Directions:
cook, rinse and refrigerate the noodles ahead of time. In a bowl mix the peanut butter, soy sauce, and sugar. In the wok, saute the scallions and garlic. You can add bean sprouts at this point too. After a few minutes, add the noodles, and stir-fry them for about 5 minutes. Then add the mixture in the bowl and the vinegar. Cook this for a couple more minutes. Lastly, add the eggs and peanuts, and heat until hot. Serve with the lime wedges on the side
ENJOY!
