Recipes without names Pt.1

I have a few recipes that do not have names and am wondering if anyone could help me identify what they may be. Here is the first one, I think it might be for doughnuts:

3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup lard
1/2 cup sugar
1t salt
1/2 cup water
2 eggs
5 cups flour

Thanks for any help.
Bob

well - with 5 cups flour - it’s not a batter so it has to be a dough - most doughnut recipes have cinnamon or nutmeg or vanilla - plus - this recipe doesn’t have baking soda, baking powder or yeast???

is this the complete recipe? any instructions?

it’s not that sweet if it has 1/2 cup sugar, possible coffee cake or a dough to roll and fill - but yet no flavoring or leavening -

because it has water and milk I don’t think it’s a pie crust - but it can be a crust recipe of some sort or a tart dough

to me it sounds like a dough you roll, fill and bake

there are some Indian flatbreads made with the same ingredients - and it could be a tortilla recipe but many call for leavening

got more??? geez - you made me think today! and I wanted to be a lazy brain today - LOL!

It sounds like an incomplete recipe to me.

I agree with you - something is missing - but yet there are tart recipes that do call for the same ingredients - no leavening or flavoring.
