Rubbing olive oil on boneless chicken breast...

Is this not a good practice? I was under the impression that it is fine to rub olive oil over the chicken before baking, but is it better to apply the oil in a different fashion?

I have had someone mention that brushing the oil is better than rubbing it on. I know some would pour oil over the chicken and roll the chicken into the poured oil.

Lol consider this one of those posts where I would shake my head in the future when I look back on my posts.
