Salad Dressings

V-8 Salad Dressing

46 oz. low sodium V-8 juice
1 tbsp. wine vinegar
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/4 packet Equal

Mix the ingredients together and chill. Shake before using.

Dijon Vinaigrette Salad Dressing

2 tbsp. Grey Poupon Dijon mustard
3/4 c. salad oil
1/4 c. wine vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Blend thoroughly and pour over salad. Makes 1 cup.

Thousand Island Dressing

1 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. chili sauce
1/3 c. sweet pickle relish
1/2 tsp. celery seed

Stir together ingredients and this will make two cups.

Thousand Island Dressing #2

1 c. pickle relish
1 c. ketchup
1-1/2 c. mayonnaise

Keeps well.

French Dressing

1 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. white vinegar
2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. paprika
3/4 tsp. celery seed

Mix ingredients well. Put in bottle and store in refrigerator.

French Dressing #2

1/2 c. condensed tomato soup
1/3 c. white vinegar
3/4 c. oil
1 sm. clove garlic
1/2 sm. onion
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. paprika

Put all ingredients into blender and chop for one minute. Then blend until well mixed. Pour into Mason jar and keep refrigerated.
