Scalloped Cabbage

Chop up a head of cabbage into 1" pieces. Par boil for 10 minutes.

Make a white sauce of 1 stick butter or margarine and 1/2 c. flour. After the flour and butter are mixed in the saucepan on low heat, stir in 2 c. milk.

After it thickens, cube 12 oz. Velveeta cheese and stir over low heat until it melts and is blended in.

Mix cabbage (drained) and the sauce. Pour into a greased baking dish, top with crushed potato chips and bake 30 minutes at 350°F. Delicious!!!:smile:

Alternatives: add onions to the cabbage when you boil it
