1 medium Vidalia onion, finely chopped
1 cup uncooked long grain rice
1 (10-3/4-oz.) can chicken broth, undiluted
3/4 cup water
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 beef-flavored beef bouillon cube
1/4 tsp. pepper
A small amount of margarine
Preheat the oven to 350*F.
Coat a medium saucepan with margarine, add onion and sauté 5 minutes. Add rice, chicken broth, water, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon cube and pepper, bring to a boil.
Coat a 1-1/2 qt. casserole dish with margarine, add rice mixture. Cover and bake for 1 hour.
This dish is very good with any type of meat or veggies. And it is so easy to make.
