Tomorrow is Friday - no meat!!

So we will have my SUPER SHAMU with cole slaw and potato salad.

SUPER SHAMU (so named because of the size of the fillet and the thickness of it!)

Thick haddock fillets, coated in: equal parts of bisquick and pancake mix using club soda to make a thick consistency. Wash fillets and dredged in flour, let dry on waxed paper about 5 minutes.

Dip in batter and deep fried until done; drain well.

Served on fresh hoagie rolls, tartar sauce (the McDonald’s recipe I posted in this thread under “I did it myself”) lettuce, and yellow American cheese with sliced red onion and thinly sliced tomato and a good twist of fresh black pepper.
Hoagie rolls lightly toasted with a very light brushing of olive oil (garlic infused).

Diced cooked potatoes, cooled, chopped red bell pepper, chopped carrot, chopped celery, chopped Vidalia onion, chopped hard-cooked eggs, chopped sweet pickles, mayo and sour cream; sprinkle paprika on top.

Shredded green and purple cabbage, shredded carrot. Miracle whip, sugar and vinegar.

Tall pitcher of iced tea.

Large fillets make a “whale” of a sandwich! LOL
