This recipe goes back to the 40’s, and was a family favorite for years! Can be multiplied, and is a great side dish, especially at picnics. Can be easily multiplied by draining several cans of beets into one measuring cup and multiplying the number of onions needed.
EASIEST-EVER AND BEST PICKLED BEETS
1 can Sliced Beets
1/2 yellow onion, thinly sliced
Apple Cider Vinegar
Drain Beets into a measuring cup. Pour out half of the liquid and replace with Apple Cider Vinegar.
Combine liquid and Sliced Onions in a pan and bring to a boil. Pour over Beets and mix gently. Chill until cold.
