I recently attended a wedding as a guest. At the wedding they had what people were refering to as sizzled or blistered peanuts. I believe they were jumbo virginia peanuts that were deep fried. Does anyone have a clue how to deep fry a virginia peanut so that it is extra extra crunchy? I believe the peanuts were first boiled then deep fried but I have had no success in duplicating the process.
