Snow Chocolate Cookies
1 pkg cream cheese
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 1/2 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup dried cherries
In a large mixing bowl, mix cream cheese and 1 cup powdered sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Add vanilla and cocoa powder. Combine flour, salt, baking powder. Add to creamy mixture, then stir in chocolate chips and cherries. Drop dough by heaping tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees about 12 minutes, or until lightly browned, then dust with remaining powdered sugar. Remove to wire racks to cool.
