Soda Crackers (Saltines)

2 cups flour
1/4 cup shortening
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon fast-acting yeast
1/2 cup ice cold water

Place flour, shortening, salt and yeast in food processor. Mix, then slowly
add water until dough clumps. Divide dough in half and let rest for 15
minutes.

Flatten into 1/4" thickness. Dust each side with flour and crank through
rollers of a pasta machine on the widest settings. Fold dough into thirds
and repeat. Do this 10-12 times. The dough will shrink. When smooth and
elastic, begin narrowing settings (on 6 setting machine: 1-4)

Lay dough on clean surface. Cut out squares or circles, place on baking
sheets lined with parchment and prick with a fork.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes.
