Southern dinner today

Today it’s southern fried chicken thighs - seasoned flour with salt, pepper, garlic, parsley, sage and fried in oil in my cast iron skillet.

Served with sweet potatoes and buttered peas.

Corny corn bread - 2 1/2 c. SR cornmeal, 1 c. milk, 1/4 c. oil, 1 can cream-style corn, 2 eggs -
baked in Xpress 101 and that recipe yielded 7 “cakes”.

Hot tea.

uhmm yeah… i want to eat that meal.
