Spiced Beef Tongue

3 to 4 lb. beef tongue
2 qts. water
6 whole cloves
6 whole black peppercorns
1/2 t. salt
4 bay leaves
1/4 c. vinegar

Combine all ingredients in crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours or until tender. Remove from pot; drain. Cool slightly; remove skin with sharp knife. Serve hot or cold. Slice thinly and serve plain, or with horseradish or mustard sauce. Makes great sandwiches when served cold.

I also put the tongue in a pressure cooker if you are in a hurry to get this done and depending on the size it only takes less than an hour to cook and is very tasty. We like it sliced and make sandwich with mustard on it or cubed with noodles and gravy.

This sounds good but finding a Beef tongue is difficult. Any hints?
