Spoon Bread From New Mexico

1 (14.75 oz.) can cream-style corn
2 cups milk
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1 cup yellow cornmeal
3 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1-1/2 cups (6-oz.) grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 (4.5 oz.) can chopped green Chiles

Preheat the oven to 350*F.

Stir all ingredients in a large bowl. Pour batter into a lightly greased 9" square baking dish or pan.

Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Quick and so very easy!!!

Makes 6 to 8 servings.
