Starbucks Dark Chocolate Truffles
1 lb. dark chocolate
1/2 lb. unsalted butter
8 oz. heavy cream
2 oz. Starbucks Liquor
Assorted Coatings: cocoa powder, confectioner’s sugar, ground toasted almonds, chopped walnuts, melted chocolate
Chop the chocolate and butter into small pieces and place in a large metal bowl. Bring the cream to a boil, then immediately pour hot cream over the chocolate and butter. Stir until completely melted. Stir in the Starbucks liquor. Pour mixture into a shallow, ungreased pan and chill until firm.
Shape the mixture into balls using a melon ball cutter. Drop each ball into desired coating, rolling it to coat completely. Enjoy!
May be stored in the fridge for 7-10 days. Allow to soften slightly before serving.
