2 cloves garlic - minced
1 large onion - sliced
1 whole round steak
2 - 3 bovril or oxo packages - low sodium is best
teriyaki marinade and sauce (kikkoman is best)
red and green peppers (or your choice of colors) - cut in strips or small pieces
Cut round steak into thin strips - easier if slightly frozen.
In large pan - put enough olive oil to just cover bottom. Add garlic and onion. Cook until tender. Remove and put aside.
Add round steak strips to pan and cook until no longer pink.
Add Teriyaki sauce (approximately 2 tablespoons). Stir and add 2 bovril or oxo packages with 2 cups water. Cover and simmer for 1 to 2 hours (longer it cooks the more tender the steak). Check occassionally to make sure there is enough liquid - if not add a little more teriyaki sauce and one more oxo or bovril package and one cup water.
In last 10 minutes - add pepper strips or pieces.
Cook spaghetti (break strands into 3 pieces before cooking). When cooked to your liking - add to meat mixture. Add more teriyaki sauce (1 or 2 tablespoons), stir and enjoy.
*If not enough liquid - add another beef broth package with 1 cup water. You can adjust teriyaki to your liking.
Serve with a nice salad.
