Boil together one cup of white sugar and one cup light Karo syrup. Remove from heat and add one and one-half cups peanut butter. Stir until blended. our six cups of Special K cereal into a buttered jelly roll pan. Pour syrup over this and stir until it is well distributed. When cool, melt one 12-ounce package chocolate chips and spread over top of cereal mixture. Then melt one 6-ounce package butterscotch chips and swirl into chocolate. Refrigerate at least one hour before cutting into squares.
