Tonight we’re having Greek Chicken/Rice Pilaf. For dessert, since I bought a case of sweet-tasting strawberries…we’re having Strawberry Chocolate Tart.

Strawberry Chocolate Tart
Pastry dough for one 10-inch pie
4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, melted
2 pints fresh strawberries
1 1/2 cup whipping cream
3 Tbsp sugar
Fresh mint leaves, chopped (optional)
Preheat oven to 425F
Roll pastry dough and place in a removable-bottom tart pan.
Bake until the dough is golden.
When the dough is still warm, brush it with melted chocolate and let it cool.
Wash, drain, and slice the strawberries.
Whip the cream and sugar.
Sread the whipped cream and sugar mixture over the chocolate.
Arrange the sliced strawberries over the whipped cream.
Sprinkle the tart with chopped mint leaves.
