Stuffed Mushrooms

12 large mushrooms
8 slices bacon
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
3 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup bread crumbs

Clean off mushrooms and remove stems. Cook bacon until crisp; crumble. Set aside.

In small amount of bacon drippings, saute finely chopped onions and mushroom stems, just until onions become clear. Remove from heat and stir in bacon and cream cheese. Mix thoroughly. Add in bread crumbs, mix; stuff mushrooms. Place in baking dish, cover and bake in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.
