I have a recipe to make a honey & hazelnut candy. The honey and hazelnuts are combined and baked in the oven. The recipe calls for baking on a silipat mat which I can not find in the small area where I live. I don’t have time to order one before the Holidays. Can I use parchment paper in place of the silipat?
Would you spray the parchment with cooking spray before putting the hazelnuts and honey on it to bake?
I would spray the parchment, but I know KW doesn’t like the sprays. What would you do, KW?
