Summer Sippers

Enjoy these refreshing cocktails by the pool, on the patio, or at a picnic this summer—both are fantastic for the season. Cheers!

Summer Flower by Jamie Gordon

2 parts Beefeater Gin Summer Edition
½ part Hibiscus Syrup
¾ part fresh lemon juice
1 dash orange bitters

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with lemon zest.

Sea Fizz

1 part Pernod Absinthe
1 part Simple Syrup
1 part lemon juice
Egg white

Shake ingredients over ice and serve in a rocks glass.

You need to plan if you mix the drink - even a few hours will do, because you want the wine to pick up some fruit flavor that you use. Often a simple syrup is added to sweeten the mix, but you do not follow this path if you prefer to skip the sugar.
