Sweet and Sour Cabbage

Ingredients:

1 head cabbage
1 egg
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt

Shred cabbage rather finely. (This can be “chopped” in blender.) Put in saucepan and sprinkle with salt. Cover pan and place over low heat and steam until tender. Beat the egg, add the vinegar, sugar and salt and pour over the steamed cabbage. Heat 5 minutes and serve at once.
