Sweet & Sour Stew (Crock Pot)
2 lbs. stew meat, cut up in small chunks
1 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup catsup
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 large onion, chopped
2 cups diced potatoes
1 cup diced carrots
(you can also add 1 stalk celery, diced and 1 clove garlic, minced)
Place meat in Crock Pot. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Cook on high for 4 to 6 hours. I fixed in the morning, so cooked on high for 1 hour and then on low for 8 hours, and the meat was very tender and tasty.
