2 Tbs oil
2 lbs. beef round steak, cut into serving pieces
1/2 cup flour
3-4 potatoes, peeled and quartered
4 large carrots, sliced
2 onions, sliced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 14 1/2 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
Heat oil in skillet. Coat steak with flour and brown in hot oil. Remove from skillet and drain. Place potatoes, carrots and onion in bottom of stoneware. Place steak on top of vegetables. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour tomatoes and tomato sauce over meat. Cover cook on Low 10 to 12 hours or on High 5 to 6 hours.
