Swiss Tuna Sandwiches
3 ounces Swiss cheese, diced (about 1/2 cup)
1 can tuna, well drained
1/2 cup salad dressing
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons minced onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 hamburger buns
Toss all ingredients except hamburger buns lightly until well mixed. Split the buns, spread with butter and then tuna mixture. Wrap individually in foil. Bake about 20 minutes at 300 degrees F to 350 degrees F.
I wish people would be more specific when then enter ingredients for a recipe . . . to just say “salad dressing”? I can think of 100 salad dressings . . . are you saying any salad dressing would work? Or was there a recipe for a certain salad dressing that should have been included with the recipe??? DG
I’m very sorry for the omission. It certainly wasn’t done on purpose. The salad dressing it refers to is something like miracle whip. When referring to miracle whip or a store brand I have always heard it called salad dressing…if there is another name for it please let me know and I will use it when posting recipes to this group since this is the only group I have had a complaint on this subject.
