Taco Pizza

This is a family favorite.

Ingredients
1 lb ground chuck
1 package pizza dough mix (add 1/2 cup hot water)
1 package taco seasoning (add 3/4 cup water)
1 jar pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 medium tomato - diced
1/2 head of lettuce - shredded
1 Jar of your favorite salsa

Preheat oven to 450. Brown ground beef. Prepare pizza dough and spread out on pizza pan (they say to grease your hands, but I dip them in hot water and it keeps the dough from sticking to my fingers). Drain the ground beef and add taco seasoning, water and pizza sauce. Cook on medium heat for 7 minutes. Spoon meat sauce onto pizza dough, top with mozzarella cheese. Bake until crust is browned and cheese us bubbly (15 - 20 minutes).

Allow everyone to “top” their own taco pizza with their favorite toppings. You can also use diced onions, black olives and sour cream if desired - whatever you like on your tacos! This makes a thin crust. If a thicker crust is preferred, just use 2 packages of pizza dough and increase hot water to 1 cup. My husband and youngest daughter love this (and they are both picky eaters).
