Tangy BBQ Sandwiches

Since I make this beef recipe in the slow cooker, it is easy to fix for a big group. If i bring it to a gathering, I very seldom come home with leftovers, i hope at least some of you will try it and like it.

3 cups chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup ketchup
1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite kind)
1 cup water
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 boneless chuck roast, trimmed ( 3 to 4 pounds)
Hamburger buns

In a slow cooker, combine the first 12 ingredients; mix well. Add roast. Cover and cook on high 7-8 hours or until meat is tender. Remove roast; cool for about 15 minutes. Shred meat and return to sauce; heat through. Serve on hamburger buns. Don’t forget to use a slotted spoon to serve or the rolls may get to soggy.

Hope this a good recipe for someone. Enjoy, Enjoy
