TERIYAKI STEAK SKEWERS
1/2 cup A.1. Original Steak Sauce
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 (1 pound) boneless beef sirloin steak, 1 inch thick
2 medium red and/or green bell peppers, cut into squares
2 cups fresh or canned pineapple chunks
Hot cooked spaghetti, optional
- Mix steak sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic and ginger in bowl. Thinly slice steak; place in nonmetal bowl or plastic bag. Add 1/4 cup steak sauce mixture; stir to coat steak strips. Cover; refrigerate at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Remove meat from marinade; discard marinade. Alternately thread steak, peppers and pineapple onto 8 (12-inch) skewers.
- Grill or broil kabobs for 4 to 6 minutes or until desired doneness, turning once and brushing occasionally with remaining steak sauce mixture. Serve with hot cooked pasta, if desired.
