Toasted Pecan Toffee Bars
Makes 36 bars

Bar Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

Topping Ingredients:
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted

Preheat oven to 350-degrees F.

In a large bowl, combine 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 cup butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in 3/4 cup pecans and 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips. Press mixture onto bottom of greased 13x9-inch baking pan.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.

Immediately sprinkle with 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips. Let stand 5 minutes. Slightly swirl melted chips. Immediately sprinkle with 1/4 cup pecans.

Cool completely. Cut into bars.
