Tony the Tiger Cookies

3 cups Kellogg’s Sugar Frosted Flakes cereal
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 (6 oz) pkg semisweet chocolate chips, melted
Measure 3 cups frosted flakes, then crush to 1-1/2 cups. Set aside. Sift together flour, soda and salt; set aside.
Measure margarine and sugar into mixing bowl, beat until very light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients, mix thoroughly. Fold in crushed frosted flakes. Swirl warm melted chocolate lightly through batter, leaving streaks of chocolate. Drop by level measuring tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 375 deg F for about 12 minutes or until done.
Remove from bakingsheets and cool on wire racks.
