This ia very simple and so delicious! I hope you give this a try!
Heat olive oil (just a bit–not much) in heavy skillet, add garlic and stir around - do not brown. Add chicken legs and brown legs on all sides.
I did 12 legs.
Reduce heat to low; add 1 c. water; 1/2 c. ketchup, 3 - 4 T. soy sauce - cover and let simmer for 30 minutes, turning legs frequently.
When done - remove to serving platter.
Increase heat to medium and boil the “sauce” until it thickens - about 5 minutes; stir in a couple tablespoons honey; mix well and pour over hot legs.
Similar to a BBQ sauce but so simple and tasty! Serve with oven fries and coleslaw.
