Tunisian-Style Beef Meatballs

Ingredients Preparation

2 cups [500 mL] semolina [couscous]
1 [19-ounce / 540-mL] can tomatoes with fine herbs
1 pound [450 g] lean ground beef
4 fresh thyme sprigs



Preheat barbecue until hot.
Boil semolina according to packaging instructions.
Into a microwave-safe dish, heat tomatoes with juice at 'MEDIUM' until hot.
Shape ground beef into 8 balls; barbecue turning often until no longer pink inside.
Evenly spoon hot semolina onto 4 individual plates.
Top with ground beef balls.
Evenly coat with hot tomatoes with fine herbs.
Decorate wiht fresh thyme sprigs, and serve.
