1 egg, beaten
2 15-oz cans fruit cocktail with juice
1 cup white granulated sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/2 cup brown sugar
Beat the egg, add fruit cocktail with juice.
Sift together, sugar, flour, soda and salt.
Stir into the first mixture.
Pour into greased 8 x 8 inch pan.
Sprinkle topping (above) over all
and bake 35 to 40 minutes at 375-F.
Serve with whipped topping or ice cream topping.
