4 Pork chops, 1/2" thick
1-2 T. oil
salt & pepper to taste
3 c. dry unseasoned croutons
1-15 oz. can cream-style corn
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. grated onion
1/2 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Brown chops in oil; sprinkle both sides with salt & pepper.
Combine remaining ingredients & mix well. Alternate pork chops & stuffing lengthwise in greased 13"x9" baking dish,starting & ending with stuffing.
Bake, covered, 40 minutes. Uncover, bake 20 minutes more or until juices run clear.
