Very Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

This recipe is so great and so easy. The pudding is the magic ingredient. After cookies have completely cooled they are very soft, a lot like a Soft Batch Chips of Hoy cookie. The fun part is that you can experiment with different flavors of pudding and chips to make a unique cookie, Have fun with this one!

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe


1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ tsp salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips


1.) Preheat oven to 375° F
2.) Mix flour, soda, salt in separate bowl. Set to the side.
3.) Cream butter and brown sugar.
4.) Add vanilla, pudding, and eggs.
5.) Mix in dry ingredients until blended.
6.) Stir in chips.
7.) Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto parchment lined or ungreased cookie sheet.
8.) Bake for 9-10 minutes or until edges of cookies are brown.
9.) Let cookies sit on sheet for 1-2 minutes before moving to wire rack.
