Volcano Cake

1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup shredded coconut
1 German chocolate cake mix
½ cup melted margarine
8 oz. Softened cream cheese
3 cups powered sugar

Preheat oven 350 degrees
Sprinkle pecans and coconut in a 9x13 pan. Prepare cake mix as directed on the box. Pour over pecans and coconut. Combine margarine, cream cheese, add powered sugar. Drop by tablespoons of cream cheese mixture over cake. Bake 45-55 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not frost. Serve with whipped topping. Don’t be surprised if the top cracks, that’s where it gets its name.
