I have been a vegetarian for 12 years and try to use only organic fruits and veggies( not always possible). I walk 30 to 45 minutes every day and I avoid sugar and white flour products. I am faithful with daily vitamins and especially a large daily dose of vitamin C. I drink fortified soy milk to boost my calcium intake. Before I became a vegetarian, I had a problem controlling my weight and cholesterol. Being menapausal, I stopped taking Estrogen and use only phyto estrogens and soy products to control symptoms of menapause. I volunteer for several animal rights and rescue groups , and I adopt homeless and feral cats. Pets make me happy and everyone knows a happy person is a healthier person!
I drink lots of water, spend time with those who are not toxic.
My brother highly recommends a part time raw food diet. His feedback is that it gives him much more energy, he does a lot of exercise so it’s very beneficial for him. It’s quite a struggle for him to stick to long term but a few days a week is better than nothing.
I do yoga three times a week and love it, I don’t like the gym but go for long walks a few times a week.
Simply put, BE YOURSELF and BE HAPPY WITH WHO YOU ARE!
If you’re already living a healthy physical lifestyle, live a happy mental health style.
OH KW, my husband & I are ready to throw a ? brick, block, shoe, BOOT? through the TV when that ad shows up…and as we seldom watch more than national & local news, it seems to show up on TV each time we turn TV on.
Someone (maybe you, dear KW) should start a topic & call it "THE DUMBEST TV ADS YOU’VE EVER SEEN’. Could be so funny!
P.S. I’m NOT PEGGY!
