White Texas Sheet Cake
1 Cup Butter
1 Cup Water
2 Cups Flower
2 Cups Sugar
2 Eggs, Beaten
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp. Almond Extract
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Soda
In a large sauce pan,bring butter and water to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in flour,sugar,eggs, sour cream,almond extract,salt,and baking soda untill smooth. Pour into a 15X10baking pan.(greased) Bake 20-22 minutes. At 350º Cool and Frost.
Frosting
1/2 Cup Butter
1/4 Cup Milk
4 1/2 Cups powered Sugar
1/2 tsp almond extract
Combine butter (softened)and milk, add powered sugar and almond extract. Beat untill smooth .
