Wild west roundup


1 bag buttered popcorn
3 Tbsp. unsalted butter
1 tsp. chili powder
1 cup Spanish peanuts
2 Tbsp. taco seasoning
1/4 cup chives, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine popcorn and peanuts. In a small saucepan, over low heat, melt butter. Add taco seasoning mix and chili powder. Blend well. Dribble and toss popcorn mixture until well coated. Spread on a baking sheet. Bake for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped chives. Makes 10 cups.

This is a new one to me, thanks, I’ll be making it AND passing the recipe to my Colorado sister…they love all Soutwestern foods out there.
