I’d like to know if you can freeze zest [lemon zest and that] and how long would it keep for? Also, what would you recommed storing it in - tupperware or would a freezer-zip bag be sufficient? Thanks!
I have frozen zest with great results. If I don’t have time to zest an orange or lemon, I just freeze the entire fruit. Although the fruit itself is not good (gets soggy when thawed) to eat raw, it makes great juice, zest and flavors up anything you normally use that particular fruit in.
