Zucchini Very Moist Bread H.J.'s
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups Crisco oil
4 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. all spice
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 capful of vanilla and little more
2 cups of grated zucchini or carrots or 1 cup of each (unpeeled)
2/3 cups of chopped walnuts
Place in well greased pans and flour
Bake 350 F. for 35 -40 min. use knife test
…cool and can be frozen VERY MOIST and great flavor
Icing I use only when I have company
1 stick of Butter melted
1 tsp.vanilla
Powder sugar use enough when mixed it will drizzle or thicker
to stay a little thicker on top.
Double recipe: 1 large Zucchini makes 2 large pans or 12 cup cakes or 3 small loafs. H.J.'s
