½, 1 –, 425°F, – what do these mean?

Can someone please tell me how to convert this into english. lol What do these symbols mean?

½ CUP DRY WHITE WINE
½ CUP SWISS CHEESE, SHREDDED
1 – 7½ OZ CAN CRAB
1½ CUPS OLD CHEDDAR CHEESE, GRATED
½ TSP CURRY POWDER
½ TSP SALT
½ CUP MAYO
1 – 2 CLOVES GARLIC, MINCED (OPTIONAL)
BUNCH OF GREEN ONIONS (GREEN PART ONLY) CUT INTO 2—INCH LENGTHS

TURNING ONCE, UNTIL THE BACON IS CRISP, 10 – 15 MINUTES…

BAKE ON UNGREASED BAKING SHEET AT 425°F FOR 12 – 14 MINUTES.

Looks like “space” or “dash” characters are being displayed as these strange characters ( space; – dash). Maybe from a font that is not on our computers. Substituting spaces and dashes produces this:

½ CUP DRY WHITE WINE
½ CUP SWISS CHEESE, SHREDDED
1 - 7 ½ OZ CAN CRAB
1 ½ CUPS OLD CHEDDAR CHEESE, GRATED
½ TSP CURRY POWDER
½ TSP SALT
½ CUP MAYO
1 - 2 CLOVES GARLIC, MINCED (OPTIONAL)
BUNCH OF GREEN ONIONS (GREEN PART ONLY) CUT INTO 2-”INCH LENGTHS

TURNING ONCE, UNTIL THE BACON IS CRISP, 10 - 15 MINUTES…

BAKE ON UNGREASED BAKING SHEET AT 425 °F FOR 12 - 14 MINUTES.

It seems there are some directions missing from this recipe.

Oh this is not a recipe… it’s from several recipes which I can’t figure out what the letters mean. Do you know?

Thank you Antilope! Space and dash makes sence.

That is the real secret recipe. If we told you, well then we’d have to…

Thank you all for responding! You can tell I no NOTHING about computers. lol
